Do you believe in gender favoritism?

I come from a place where marriage is considered to be solely between a man and a woman, and people with same-sex attraction or who identify as gay often feel the need to hide to avoid being attacked or mocked by the population. The knowledge of such practices is considered a curse, and those who engage in them are often considered evil. I mention this situation not to blame anyone but rather to inform readers that different people have different perspectives, and changing those perspectives may take a long time or may never happen. An important conclusion to draw from this problem is that all citizens should be heard and respected for who they are, and their rights should be protected because life is not meant to be observed or understood through the same lens. Many countries around the world have been affected by this situation and have come to the conclusion that it is important to redefine marriage or gender because of the high rates of persecution, death, and bullying of LGBTQ+
